are key foundations of our workshops. While our preference is to be in the school environment with our workshop participants, we can also meet online.
Each workshop is designed and delivered by relevant allied health professionals who bring expert knowledge, skills, and insights to enhance specific aspects of the teaching and learning process.

Teacher Workshop

Some of our more recent workshop topics were designed to equip teachers with practical strategies and insights to enhance teaching practices and support students’ diverse needs. Our team can deliver any of these workshops, as well as customize a workshop to meet the specific needs of your school community.

Some of our recent workshops include:

  • Simple and effective strategies to enhance handwriting 
  • Using social stories to teach conversation skills and develop friendships
  • Shared Book Reading: It’s more than you think!  
  • Deconstructing lessons to support children with language/learning difficulties in the classroom

Parent Workshop

Parents are invaluable members of the school community and our AHSS team has designed  and delivered many workshops for parents with valuable insights and practical strategies to support them and their child’s educational and personal development. All of these workshops aim to equip parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge to foster a positive and nurturing environment at home. 

Some of our recent workshops include:

  • Understanding the importance of speech/language skills for academic learning
  • Playing to develop cognition, learning, social and problems-solving
  • Shared book reading at home: how and how often?  
  • Re-thinking behaviour management to facilitate students’ self-regulation
  • Building your child’s resilience
  • Using prompting, cueing, and reinforcement at home.
