Mr. Choi is an Educational Psychologist with a decade of clinical experience at a leading non-governmental organization that provides services to children, adolescents, and adults with special education needs (SEN). His extensive background in the field has led him to become the founding director of Edge Development Centre.

Mr.Choi currently serves as the director of the Hong Kong Association of Educational Psychologists (HKAEP) and holds the position of Honourary Treasurer at The Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS).

Mr. Choi’s commitment to enhancing educational support for individuals with SEN is further evidenced by his tenure as a committee member, in the capacity of an expert in educational psychology, for the Committee on Special Need Candidates at the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) from 2018 to 2021.

As a part-time lecturer at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), Mr. Choi teaches subjects related to special education needs. His expertise in educational assessment is also showcased through his co-authorship of “The Hong Kong English Reading Ability Test for Primary-One Pupils” (HKE), published in 2020, which is a significant contribution to the field of literacy assessment.
